Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Embassy (the "Service"), operated as described on this site. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
The Service
Embassy tracks organic search rankings and, when you upload campaign data, analyzes ad spend for waste. Reports combine data computed directly from your connected sources with commentary written by a third-party language model; every factual figure is computed in our own code and cited to its source, never invented by the model.
Accounts
You sign in with a Google account via Firebase. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and processed by Dodo Payments, a third-party payment processor; we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. To cancel or change plans, email support@useembassy.com — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Plan limits (tracked domains, keywords, competitors, report frequency) are described on the pricing page and may change with notice.
Acceptable use
- Only track domains and campaign data you own or are authorized to analyze.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties to operate: Firebase (authentication), DataForSEO (search ranking data), a language-model provider (report commentary), Dodo Payments (billing), and Resend (email delivery). Their own terms and availability apply to the portions of the Service they provide.
Disclaimers
Reports are informational. We ground every factual claim in a cited source and never let the model assert a number we did not compute, but we do not guarantee any particular business outcome from acting on a report. The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Embassy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or acceptable use.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the update. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account info from Google sign-in: name, email address, profile photo.
- Business data you enter: tracked domains, keywords, competitors, questionnaire answers, and any campaign CSV you upload.
- Payment metadata from Dodo Payments (we never see or store your card number).
How we use it
To generate your reports, send the weekly digest email to a plan that includes it, process billing, and operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only the third-party processors named in the Terms above, each acting on our behalf to provide their specific part of the Service (search data, model commentary, payment processing, email delivery, authentication). We do not share your business data with other customers or third parties for their own purposes.
Cookies
We set one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@useembassy.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
Refund Policy
If your first report on a paid plan doesn't hand you a change worth making, email support@useembassy.com within 7 days of your first charge and we refund it in full — no forms, no questions.
This guarantee covers your first billing cycle only. Later renewals are not automatically refundable, but you can cancel anytime before your next renewal by emailing the same address, and we're reasonable about hardship or billing-error requests on a case-by-case basis.
